Default Traveling abroad

Has anyone ever traveled to Paris, France or France in general? I may be planning a trip to Paris this coming Summer. One of my dad's best friend who is from Paris came to the U.S. for his vacation and he visited my dad today. I was talking with him and he invited me to come to Paris since I'm graduating from my university this coming June. Probably take a few months vacation and why not take up the opportunity to travel

I had plans to travel to Australia this year but something happened and had to change plans. Anyway, just curious if anyone has traveled to France before and how is it like? I always wanted to travel to Europe.

Yes, I have been to France. Paris is a bit dirty, but nice. The country side of France is gorgeous. Go there instead.

If I could recommend a European area to visit, it would be Southern Germany (Bayern area) Munich is nice of course, but the Romatische Strasse (Romantic Road) is BEAUTIFUL.

Luzerne Switzerland = must see. Go through the German countries, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Lichtenstein.

I'll keep those places in mind. I used to watch the travel channels and those country areas are really nice. I actually have relatives in Brussels, Belgium.

I might be going to Switzerland this summer. My sister asked me if I wanted to go visit our uncle over their. He insisted we come over and see the sights. Switzerland is supposed to be one of the best places on earth. lol

Since Paris is 2 hours away from me by train, yes, I have been there >.<
Also been to Rome, other parts of France, Turkey, Germany, Belgium... The most awesome thing about living in the netherlands is that foreign countries are next door >.< And I have been to Curacao last summer.
When I got the money for it, I really want to go to new zealand, australia, thailand and japan. But for the moment, that is wishful thinking

I live in paris, and tbh it's not as nice as you might think. Dirty yes, people are aggressive and apart from the monuments and the shops there isn't much to see.

Other parts of france like Bretagne or le Jura are much nicer.

I have been to Paris....and I must say I HATE PARISIANS!!!!!!! Luckily the other parts of France are understanding and dislike them too so I'll stick to the rest of France. Long Live Food!
